Preparation

Before starting installation work, always
check that the scope of delivery is com
plete! Later complaints for damaged
or missing parts cannot be taken into
consideration.
Caution:
The surface of roller shutter is very
sensitive. To avoid damage of roller shutter
when mounting on site please notice:
Don't lay out roller shutter on uneven
ground.

Fitter installation

2.1 Check the local conditions (e.g.
dimensions of the opening) according to the
drawing supplied.
2.2 Check the dimensions of the roller
door curtain and the top roller according to
the parts list.
2.3 Arrange and install the drive side
and the consoles as shown on the drawing
supplied.

3
Roller shutter door with indirect drive
(chain and pinion) (option)
Proceed with fitter installation as described
in chapter 2.
Slide pedestal bearing and anti runoff
device onto the shaft end of the top roller,
secure from sliding off, lift the whole as
sembly onto the ready mounted consoles
and screw the bearings with threaded
plates.
Measure and mount the drive consoles.
Fasten drive to console as intended and
align in position.
Caution:
Drive and shaft pinions must be precisely
in line. Pipe shaft must turn freely in both
directions (do not let the anti run-off device
engage, turn shaft slowly).
Position chain, grease it and tighten. Lock
tightening screws and mount chain guard.
Turn top roller until the curtain fixing points
are easily accessible on the lintel side.
4
Installation of roll-up system (option)
The drive base and the pedestal bearing
are screwed onto the rollup brackets.
Note that the threaded holes on the rollup
brackets are arranged asymmetrically with
the shorter distance pointing towards the
lintel (axle center set back by 125 mm from
the front). The dimensions of each design
drawing must be observed.
Please keep these assembly, operating and maintenance instructions as long as you use the product!
To ensure proper function, the wall
brackets must be installed exactly at a
right angle to the wall! After placing the
tube axle, make sure that it can be moved
parallel to the lintel smoothly. If necessary,
the angle of the wall brackets must be
adjusted.
Secure the rollup brackets against falling
out using an M12 set screw at the rear end
of the Halfen rail.
