must be cleaned and installed.
When choosing where to put the machine, the following should be considered:
- that the planned position is not damp and is protected from the elements.
- that the area where it will be placed is completely flat, on a non-slip floor and with
appropriate load capacity.
- that there is a large operational area around the machine, which is free from obstacles.
- that the room should be attended and closed in order to prevent free access.
- that there is good lighting.
- that it needs to be positioned close to the general differential switch.
- that the power supply system is earthed and conforms to the standards.
- that the room temperature should be between 10° and 35° C.
- that the work environment is not in an explosive atmosphere.
Remove the upper part of the packaging and visually check that the machine and its
components are perfectly intact. Then remove the packaging and proceed to carefully
clean the machine in order to remove any protective oils used for transport.
1) Get a bench (not provided) to rest the machine on and a series of nuts and bolts
(not provided) for fixing it to the bench.
2) Proceed to assemble the components as illustrated in the figure. If in any doubt,
please contact your retailer. Some components only need to be assembled if they
are required for the process that you wish to carry out.
3) Assemble the two supports at the rear (pos. 26), base caps and position the
machine and fix it firmly using the holes present on the base.
4) Assemble the two side supports (pos. 13) and the piece guide (pos. 19), which
must be used exclusively for the saw bench.
5) Mount the vice (pos.32) to be used only in cutting mode.
6) Fix the cutting head using the lever (pos. 22) situated at the base of the rear side.
7) Insert the intake manifold (pos. 24) into the rear hole of the frame, pressing strongly
until it is completely coupled.
8) Make sure the blade (pos. 6) is correctly positioned and can rotate freely (for as-
sembling instructions see following chapters).
9) Make sure that the lower blade's guide (pos. 7) functions correctly in cutting off
mode: when lowering and lifting the cutting head the guard automatically uncovers or
encases the blade. In case of failure of the mechanism, do not start up the machine
but contact an authorised service centre.
10) Remove the piece pusher (pos.29) from its support at the base (pos. 8) and rest
it on the side of the machine.
11) Make sure that the removable guard is in place (pos.16). Without it, it is not possible
to move the machine into "saw bench" mode.
Make sure that all the parts have been properly and securely assembled and that the
machine is stable before starting it.
OPERATING MODE (FIG. A)
WARNING! Before any operational change, turn the switch to the OFF "O", unplug the
machine from the electric power supply and wait for the machine to stop completely.
SAW BENCH MODE
The machine is provided in saw bench mode, in order to use it this way assemble the
piece guide (pos. 19) in the slot situated on the work surface.
CUTTING OFF MACHINE MODE
Disassemble the piece guide (pos.19).
In order to move from the saw bench mode to the cutting off machine mode and vice
versa, read the following instructions carefully.
Warning! Breakages and/or damages due to incorrect operation are not covered by
the warranty.
FROM SAW BENCH MODE TO CUTTING OFF MACHINE MODE
1. Loosen the wheel by turning it once only.
2. Lift the work surface to the highest level and firmly lock it by fixing the wheel. Make
sure the blade is fully protected and does not protrude above the work surface.
3. Push down the work head and pull the locking knob outwards as much as possible.
4. Gradually release the head, which will move upwards.
5. Take off the blade removable guard. Place it in a safe place so that it can be used
