use the lid if chipped, cracked or noticeably scratched, as these conditions may cause glass to

A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord. Place the cord behind electric skillet during use to reduce risk of
an accident.
