4. Install the Shower Receptor
IMPORTANT! Risk of property damage. Avoid hitting the unit with the hammer.
Attach the Receptor with Roofing Nails or Non-Tapered Head Screws
IMPORTANT! Install the large-head roofing nail or non-tapered screw above the flange. Do not nail or
drill through the flange.
Install large-head roofing nails or screws over the top of the flange. This will pin the flange of the
receptor to the studs, as shown.
Install the fasteners at all stud locations.
Verify the fastener heads do not interfere with the installation of the other finished walls.
