Once the Reactor Chamber (F) is removed, the Knob (I.1)
and the Upper Reactor Chamber Cover (C2) can easily be
removed

Turn the Threaded Rod (I) clockwise to raise the Separation
Plate (G) to the top of the Reactor Chamber(F).

The Separation Plate (G) and the element™ Sponge (D2)
can now be removed easily.
6.
Make certain the element™ Sponge (D1) is on the bottom of
the Reactor Chamber (F).
7.
Add the desired volume of zeolite onto the element™
Sponge (D1) at the bottom of the Reactor Chamber (F).
8.
Place element™ Sponge (D2) on top of the media.
9.
Place the Separation Plate (G) onto the Threaded Rod (I).
10. Lower the Separation Plate (G) down until it begins to enter
the Reactor Chamber (F) by turning the Threaded Rod (I)
counter clockwise, taking care that the two notches in the
plate line up with the inner tracks of the chamber.
11. Put Upper Reactor Chamber Cover (C2) in place making
certain that the notches in the cover rim face the
appropriate direction (see Figure 3).
12. Reattach the Knob (I.1).
13. Continue to lower the Separation Plate (G) down until the
element™ Sponge (D2) is a few centimeters (1 inch) above
the media. It is important to note that part of a wash
feature in a zeolite reactor is to allow the media to lift and
tumble slightly within the higher flow wash cycle.
14. The media can now easily be rinsed if necessary.
15. Slide the Reactor Chamber (F) back into the Reactor
Column (E).
16. Replace the Reactor Column Cover (H) and the Locking
Ring (B2).
