10)
11 )
Do not point the hot air gun at anyone.
Do not touch the metal air outlet as it will become very hot during use. It will remain at a high temperature for 30 minutes after
12)
being turned off.
Do not move the hot air gun closer to any object while it is operating or immediately after the work is complete.
13)
Do not drop any object into the nozzle, as this could cause electric shock. As the machine will generate high temperatures while
14)
operating, do not look into it as it starts up.
Do not let paint adhere to the scraper at the air outlet as it could eventually ignite.
6. Paint removal
Do not use this tool to remove paint that contains paint. Flaking paint, residue and fumes may contain toxic lead. The lead accumulated
on the surface may be ingested accidentally along the hand-to-mouth route. Even a small amount of lead can cause irreversible damage
to the brain and nervous system, and children and fetuses are the most vulnerable.
For paint removal, make sure that the workplace is closed and wear a dust mask.
Do not burn paint. Use a scraper and keep the air vent at least 25 cm from the painted surface. If you scrape the paint vertically, you
should scrape it downwards to prevent paint from falling into the hot air gun and igniting.
Clean the site thoroughly after the work is complete, and dispose of removed paint safely.
7. Assembly and commissioning
Assemble and commission the machine only when it is unplugged.
The air temperature may be adjusted to correspond to a wide range of applications. The table below shows the different application
