• Electronic devices near electronic welding machines can experience interference due to the high levels
of current produced during the process. Turn off nearby computer equipment as a precauon. If
interference occurs outside of the immediate area where the process i s taking place, have a qualified
electrical technician check the grounding of the electrical connecon used to operate the machine.
• The welding process can affect medical devices such as pacemakers. If you are a user of these devices
stay away and consult your doctor.
• Never use the machine for other acvies or operaons other than welding.
• Moving parts, such as fans, can cause personal injury. Stay away from them and do not insert objects on
them or obstruct them.
• Do not move the gas cylinder when the regulator valve is in place. Aach the gas cylinder securely,
upright to a wall rack or special cart.
• Always close the gas cylinder valve and then the regulator valve.
• Addional safety consideraons are required when working under any of the following hazardous
condions: In wet locaons; metal structures such as floors, grates, or scaffolding; being in difficult
posions such as sing, kneeling or lying down, when there is a high risk of accidental contact with the
workpiece, when the work area has flammable materials, when welding at height.
