Unpacking

Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the box.

Remove all packaging material.
♦
Clean the appliance as described in the section "Cleaning and Care".
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport.
The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness
and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging into the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging materials that
are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
►
If possible, keep the original packaging of the appliance for the entire du-
ration of the warranty period so that the appliance can be packed properly
for return shipment in the event of a warranty claim.
Setting up
1) Unwind the cable from around the cable retainer 6 and guide it through
the recess on the base 5.
2) Place the appliance on a dry and level surface. Ensure that the mains
adapter is in easy reach.
3) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
Operation
DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
NEVER place the electrical base 5 in close proximity to water – risk of

fatal electric shock!
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
For safety reasons you should not open the lid 1 while the appliance is in

operation. There is a risk of scalding.

Always use fresh milk. Do not consume milk that has been standing in the
jug for some time.
