Chain Adjustment
The transmission chains must be adjusted to move in the branch tensioned to +/- 15 mm, as shown in
the drawing (fig.1).
Adjustment is done by tightening the chain stretcher nut (A).
NOTE: Preferentially, lubricate the chain with oil.
Adjusting the Discharge Conveyor Tension by the External Tightener
The adjustment is done by adjusting the tightening
bars (1).
Loosen the lock nuts to do this (2) and then turn the
nuts (3) in the clockwise direction.
CMT. Adjust the two tightening bars evenly.
Measure the distance (A) in order to confirm if the
tightening bars are adjusted properly.
If the measurements are equal, retighten the lock nuts
(3). If not, repeat the process.
NOTE: Verify the cleanliness of the inside of
the conveyor, and the rollers, and if the
scrapers are in place in order to achieve
good operation of the discharge conveyors.
