19. UP DATING THE TOOL

The tester needs to be updated at regular intervals in order to diagnose and display the
data of new vehicles and sensors introduced in the market.
• Connect the USB cable from the PC port to the suitable connector located at
the top of the tester.
• Power on the tester after connecting the USB cable.
• Launch the update utility you will have installed on the PC, select UPDATE
and follow the on-screen instructions.
• When finished, return the tester to its original condition and close the battery
holder.
In order to update the tester, you will need a PC with the software
supplied on the CD-ROM installed, Internet access and a
password. Obtain the password from your supplier.
