10.5 Selection of the CURRENT
or of the BASE MATERIAL THICKNESS

1. Led "ON" on push-button
(25), means that the digital
instrument (30) visualises
the set data of one the four
led placed right below the
instrument.
2. If the led of the push-but-
ton (25) is not "ON", then
press the push-button and it
will turn ON at once with Led
(26).
Set the desired welding cur-
rent by rotating Knob (41).
3. Welding parameters regu-
lation can be made also by
selecting the THICKNESS of
the BASE MATERIAL to be
welded; press push-button
(25) in order to move the
light trough the Led until you
reach the thickness, at that
point, set the desired value.
4. Press the torch switch or the foot remote control to begin wel-
ding. Set all the parameters that are considered necessary in order
to optimise the procedure.

NOTE: use LIFT ARC system (also for AC welding) in all those
environments in which the use of HF could bring interference (Data
transmissions offices, airports, hospitals, etc. and where electronic
medical equipment for personal care are used).

5.Welding can be carried out
with HIGH FREQUENCY
(HF) or LIFT ARC for the arc
start, simply by switching
ON or OFF the HF trough
switch (11).
