D) Maintenance: Brightness control

Brightness is controlled on the control panel in the range
from 50% to 100%:
a Press the „+" button (D): Brightness will increase
a Press the „-" button (B): Brightness will decrease
The set intensity is displayed on the (C) indicator.

To focus (change the light
spot size) turn the handle (H)
on the lamp shade (see
fi gure).
The lamp shade position can
be adjusted with the handle
(H) or the two handle sleeves
(G).

During the installation of the examination light, the
entire system must be disconnected from the mains!

5. Preparatory measures before use

During initial commissioning, the device must be
checked in accordance with EN 62353!
In particular, check the examination light for the following
points:
• Paint defects
• Cracks in plastic parts
• Loose parts
• Check the connection between the examination light and
support system
• Fail-safe operation (e.g., brake rollers)
• Electrical safety
Defective parts must be replaced before continuing to use.
Tighten the screws if necessary.

6. Hygienic preparation

Clean and disinfect immediately after use. Remove dirt from
the rollers to prevent static charge build-up.
Manual cleaning / disinfection
For disinfection, it is recommended to use products dissolved in
water or in max. 20% alcohol.
Do not use acid-containing products!
