3. Displaying the software version

Error code

If the motor handpiece stops due to an abnormality such as a malfunction, overload,
breakage or misuse, it automatically checks the state of the control unit and detects the
cause of the abnormality, displaying an error code on the LCD panel. If an error code is
displayed, turn on the power again and check whether the same error code is displayed. If
the same error code is displayed, take action by referring to the instructions provided in
the "Check/Remedy" column in the following table.
In case of error, the LCD panel display is as below:

Hold down both buttons of the TORQUE
simultaneously for more than 3 seconds.
"r" for "release" and three digit number
appears on the display
(e.g. 130 for version number 1.30)

High input voltage in the unit.
Low input voltage in the unit.
High voltage of battery.
High battery current during
charging.
High motor voltage.
High motor load.

Check/Remedy
Use the original charger.
Otherwise replace the charger.
Use the original charger.

Disconnect the charger.

Disconnect the charger.
Contact your distributor.
Switch off the motor.

Check or replace contra angle and motor.
