Replacing Your Headlight
Your XV1 series headlight can be removed and replaced, should it ever get damaged.
1. Use an optical screwdriver to loosen the nose pad screw.
2. Gently pull the headlight up and out of the frame.
3. Gently push the new headlight down into the frame. If a new headlight is not being installed, the headlight
plug should be installed instead. The headlight plug helps prevent liquids and other debris from damaging
the circuitry in the frame.
!
Never leave the contacts exposed.
4. Tighten the nose pad screw. You may need to readjust your nose pad before tightening the screw.

Telescope anchors will be installed in the carrier lenses of your frame.
1. Insert a matching pair of telescopes into the anchors and they will be magnetically secured. Each telescope
is assembled with a key-slot to ensure it is properly aligned in the anchor.
2. To remove telescopes from the anchors, hold onto the frame with one hand while pulling each telescope
out of its anchor. It will take reasonable force to disengage the magnetic interface.
3. When your loose telescopes are not being used, they should be stored in your case.
