2.2.3. Works to be performed by the heating engineer
Once / year
Cleaning the external aggregate's outside:
- Clear heat exchanger from dust, ensuring not to damage
the fins. If necessary, use soft brush and sprayer (filled
with water or a product qualified for the water heater).
- Clean the drain and the collection pan for the external
aggregate's condensate.
Check for hydraulic tightness:
- Hot / cold water connection
- Electric heating element's butterfly
valve seal
Check electrical connections for tight fit.
Read off the hot water sensor, then
reset.
Read off the top boiler sensor, then
reset.
Read off the air sensor, then reset.
Read off the condensate sensor, then
reset.
Check the heat exchange value *
Based on the air temperature
difference.
* If outside the recommended /
reference value, consult a refrigeration
engineer.
Every 2 years, depending on the water's quality.
Water heater descaling:
- Hard water TH > 25 °f each 2 years.
- Neutral water of 15 °f to 25 °f each
3 years.
