4/ When set up in a bathroom, do not
install the appliance in areas V0, V1
and V2. If the dimensions do not facili-
tate any alternative, installation in area
V2 is permissible.
5/ The device is not intended to be used in altitudes
exceeding 2000 meters.
6/ Place the unit in a location with easy access.
7/ Refer to the installation figures in the "Installation"
section.
How to affix suspended units: In order to facilitate the
heating element's replacement, allow at least 300 mm for
units up to 100 l and 480 mm for units of higher volumes,
respectively, underneath the end fittings of the water heat-
er's pipes. The clearance required for the appliance's cor-
rect installation is specified in the "Installation" section.
The vertical water heater on the base must (in accord-
ance with article 20 of EN 60335-1) be fixed to the ground
using a fastening system intended for this purpose.

HYDRAULIC CONNECTION:

A new 3/4" and 0.9 Mpa (9 bar) safety unit protected from
freezing and in accordance with local standards must be
installed on the inlet of the water heater.
A pressure reducing equipment (not supplied) placed on
the main water supply is required if the water supply pres-
sure exceeds 0.5 MPa (5 bar).
Connect the safety unit to a discharge pipe, kept in the
open air, in a frost-free environment, continuously sloping
