Design features

The Body Armor® Heel Reliever heel protector is available in 2 versions: Convoluted or smooth. Both pro-
duct variants are laminated with a smooth fabric cover to allow the leg to „glide" without changing the
position of the exposed area. The correct fixation of the product on the patient is achieved with three
straps that hold the forefoot and the lower leg in an orthograde position. If the leg is rotated excessively
over the hip joint, the desired position of the leg can be achieved with the positioning wedge. An extra
pad for the calf area and dorsal foot area included in the delivery enables individualised pressure redis-
tribution and safe application of the product.
