Position towers equally from front of car.
• Repeat steps to attach rear
towers and bar.
•Measure

distance
from
FRONT
towers.
Test the Installation:

IMPORTANT!

Yakima crossbars is
determined by the accessories
you wish to carry.
The Crossbar Spread Table in
the Yakima Fit List (from your
dealer) will tell you how much
crossbar spread your
accessories require.
GRAB THE BAR
near the towers
and pull back
and forth.
IF THE TOWER
slides or crossbar
MAXIMUM WEIGHT SHOULD NOT EXCEED 125lb/56kg.
•Tighten towers
using levers.
•Make sure
the tower
grips the
factory
side rails
SECURELY.
IF ANY PART OF an accessory or tower contacts the
factory installed crossbars, and the factory bars
cannot move out of the way, they must be removed
completely.
Always secure long loads at the FRONT and REAR!
