6. Maintenance
6.13.3- Storage
In the period that the machine goes unused, before storing it, it is recommended
to perform a general overhaul indicated in the previous item.
After overhaul:
Fully loosen the belts and drive chains (where fitted).
Remove the wheels. This will increase tire life (on models equipped with
wheel).
Store the machine in a dry place protected from the sun and rain.
Place the machine in a place where children can not access it. Restrict access
to parts of the machine that can be moved manually.
6.13.4- Back to work
Before using the machine again, after a period of storage, you should:
Re-tighten nuts and bolts in general;
Lubricate the points indicated in this manual;
Stretch the belt;
Review the settings for operation described in this manual.
CAUTION!
Before starting cleaning:
• Park the machine in a flat location and
disconnect the power take-off from the
tractor;
• Lower the equipment to the floor;
• Disconnect the hydraulic components;
• Stop the tractor and remove the ignition
key;
• Engage the tractor's parking brake. Make
sure that the tractor can not move during
cleaning. If necessary, fit the wheels.
• Cleaning and repairs should only be
done with the machine turned off, the
components completely stopped and the
key removed from the ignition.
• Only touch the machine if you are sure
there is no movement.
• There is a risk of a serious accident to
contact with parts of the machine in
motion.
