It shall be recommended that any straps
holding the restraint to the vehicle
should be tight, that any straps restrai-
ning the child should be adjusted to the
child's body, and that straps should not
be twisted.
The child restraint system should be
replaced after an accident, even if there

are no visible signs of damage. The pro-
duct may have unseen internal damage
that could compromise the child's safety.
Stop for breaks on your journey so the
child can walk about and play out of the
safety seat. It is not advisable to travel
for more than 2 hours without stopping
for a break. For babies this advice is
particularly important.
The textile cover is an essential part of
the child restraint system. it must not be
replaced by another cover without expli-
cit authorization from the manufacturer.
