OPEN
bar clamps by loosening
the bolts as much as
possible without
disengaging the bolt.
Slide crossbar into
loosened towers.
Place the assembled bars and towers onto the vehicle's siderails.
Center the crossbars
between the towers.
Position towers
and crossbars at
the distance
required by
your Yakima
accessory.
Finger-tighten
all bolts.

Loosen the tower
bolts so that the
crossbars can
slide easily.
Push on
end caps.
You may need to
adjust or remove the
factory crossbar if
CROSSBAR SPREAD:
The distance between the Yakima crossbars is
determined by the accessories you wish to carry.
The Crossbar Spread Table (Fit List) will tell you
how much crossbar spread your accessories
require.
