7. Operation of bed exit box

7.1 Switching on/off

Use the push-turn dial on the right side of the bed exit box to switch it on or off.
To switch the box on: press the push-turn dial for about 1 second
To switch the box off: press the push-turn dial for more than 3 seconds until the display
turns off

7.2 Setting a time interval

Use the push-turn dial on the right side of the box to set the nurse call trigger time interval
between 1 and 30 minutes. The tolerance between the time set and the actual time the call
is triggered can be about 1 %.
No time can be set when the timer is running (i.e. when the resident is not in bed).
The timer can only be set if there is weight on the mat.

7.3 Display

The display on the top of the bed exit box shows the currently set delay for triggering the nurse
call.
If the bed exit box is switched off, the display shows the last time set when it is
switched on again.
