Operating the Headlight

The XV1 employs innovative capacitive touch controls on the temple arms for easy, low maintenance operation.
1.
Touch and hold the logo on either temple arm to
turn the headlight on and off.
2.
Tap the logo on either temple arm to alternate
the light intensity between LOW and HIGH.
3.
Adjust the articulating arm of the headlight to
align the spot light with your field of view.
The XV1 remembers your light intensity setting when it
is turned off, and automatically returns to that setting
when used again.
Each temple arm has a low-battery indicator light. The
XV1 illuminates the indicator when the corresponding
battery is ready to be recharged. (The indicator will
flash when the headlight is turned off, and will remain
constant when the headlight is on.) Smart technology
automatically draws power from the second battery
when the capacity of the first battery is depleted.
CAUTION:
Do not stare at the headlight or aim it directly into someone's eyes. It may be harmful to the eyes.

Charging the Batteries

The XV1 comes with four rechargeable batteries and a 2-bay battery charger. The XV1 uses two batteries in tandem.
The battery charger uses a medically rated, universal-input power supply that accepts 100 – 240 V
of your specific power supply and adapter set may vary slightly from the one shown. Select the proper adapter for your
location.
