• Direct installation with threaded connection (A)
• Window of microwave-permeable glass or plastic (B & C), e.g. PTFE
• Installation with danger of condensation on the container's inner wall (C)
• Sight glass fittings (D) for various applications with microwave-permeable windows made of glass
• The maximum length E depends on the permittivity and the water absorption of the plastic material,
example PTFE: E ≤ 300 mm
• Fouling (material accumulation) in the nozzle area (F) should be avoided in a suitable manner, e.g. by purge air
• The pipe can be made of any desired metallic material, edges inside the pipe (e.g. at transitions) can cause signal attenuation
and thus should be avoided wherever possible.
The length H of the pipe is unimportant due to the waveguide effect.
