Installing and Removing the Die

DO NOT install the battery on the Crimping Tool until the
Crimping Tool is fully assembled and the die is installed.
The die should be changed after approximately 1000 crimps or when worn,
whichever occurs first. Millipore reccommends performing a test crimp each time
a die is installed to ensure proper crimping.
1. Inspect the cutting edge on the die and ensure that it is not worn and that it is
free of foreign particles.
2. Verify that the die and fitting sizes match. No more than 1 mm on each side of
the fitting should extend beyond the die.
