The die should be cleaned with a soft bristle brush to remove debris.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the Crimping Tool. Service should be
performed by Millipore Service Technicians only.
The Crimping Tool should be serviced after 10,000 crimping cycles or one year,
whichever comes first.
The crimping Tool may be wiped down with a soft cloth dampened with
Ethanol.
The user must dispose of the tool and battery in accordance
with local regulations. In the European Union (EU), this unit
is subject to the scope of the WEEE (2002/96/EG) directive
which regulates the collection and recycling of electric and
electronic units and the RoHS (2002/95/EEC) directive which
bans new electrical and electronic equipment containing more
than 0.1 weight percentage lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium,
polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) and 0.01 weight
percentage cadmium per homogenous material. The battery must
be disposed of according to the EEC battery guideline or local
regulations.
