5. With the f il m rewind crank in the f old ed out
position, rewi nd th e film slightly to remove
any slack in the film cassette. Rec heck to
see that the film rema ins secured to the
take-up spoo l and t hat it is properly aligned
with the sprocket (26). Fold down rewind
cran k.

6. Close the back cover (29) until you hear an
audible click, which indicates that the cover
is locked in the closed position . Advance the
film by alternately winding the advance
lever and pressing the shutter release button
until the number "1" appears in the film
counter window (1 ). As the advance lever is
wound , the film rewind knob should rotate,
indicating that the film is advancinf1
properl y.

SETTING FILM SPEED
For properly exposed photographs , your CS-2's
auto matic expos u re co ntrol system must be set
for the correct AS A (or DIN - for DIN
equivalent , refer to the DIN / ASA conversion
ch art (30), rating of film y ou are using.
To set t he f ilm speed :
1. Lift the collar on the Selector Di al (4).
2. Turn the collar until the ASA rating for
your film appears in the A SA Window .

3. Release the colla r to lock the setting in
place.
