Adjustment of blade angle
Use a 22 mm open-ended spanner to slacken the locking screw (fig.16-D) on the right,
anf turn the handle (fig.16-E) on the left of the protection cover. After the blade angle
has been set (from 0º to 45º), shown on the goniometric scale (fig.16-F). retighten the
locking screw (fig.16-D)

Adjustment of standard stops supplied with machine as standard accessories
When the cutting point on the slab has been determined, manually position the
standard stops G-H (fig-17), and use a rule to place them in the appropriate point for the
desired cut. After adjustment, the stops must be locked in position using the levers I-L
(fig.17) located directly on the stops.

3.- STARTING AND STOPPING PROCEDURES
Before starting the machine check that the blade protection hood is
correctly secured.
Before starting cutting operations check the continuity of the blade
cooling waster flow. It is advisable to keep water pipes free of sludge and
solid bodies by flushing them with running water at the end of every
cutting operation. In addition, if the machine has a tank for water
circulation (optional), never run the pump without water or with only a
little water. This would may only reduce blade cooling capacity and
increase blade wear, but could also cause a possible breakdown of the
pump.
Objects that might be a source of risk or the could in some way obstruct
work operations must never be present on the machine base or in the
work area.
It is advisable to use personal safety equipment as envisaged by general
safety precautions given in this instruction manual.
During cutting operations the operator's hands must never be on the
cutting line of the blade.
Supply power to the machine with the main switch and check that white power
supply light goes on.
Position the slab to be cut on the machine worktable, facilitating the operation with
the rollers of the roller unit .
Lift the pneumatic wheels, load the slab, put the slab in correct position and lower
the wheels; position the slab to be cut on the machine worktable, facilitating the
operation with the rollers of the roller units.
Press the green BLADE START button to start the blade rotation motor, and check
that the cooling water flows constantly onto the blade.
Lower the blade to 5-8 mm beneath the worktable.
Press the START CYCLE button and adjust horizontal movement speed to a
suitable value with the potentiometer provided. At this point the carriage will
advance automatically, cutting the slab, and after reaching the end of travel on the
right, will return automatically.
During the automatic work cycle, horizontal movement of the carriage is limited by
two end-of-travel micro switches located on the beam. When the right-hand end-of
travel switch is triggered, the carriage moves in the "RETURN" direction. When
the left-hand microswitch is triggered, the work cycle is terminated, and carriage
movement stops.
Carriage movement speed must be appropriate for cutting depth, the
hardness of the material being cut, and blade rotation speed.
The two potentiometers on the control panel can be used to independently set the
"FORWARD" and "RETURN" movement speeds of the carriage along the
movement rail.
Use the MANUAL RETURN button to obtain "RETURN" carriage movement
whenever necessary.
To stop the blade rotation motor, push the "STOP CUT" red button. The yellow
light on the button goes out to indicate that the blade has halted.
To stop the machine in an emergency, press the "EMERGENCY" button to
immediately stop the motor ant to cut off the power supply. To reset the machine,
rotate the cap of the emergency button in a clockwise direction and press the
"START" button.
