B. GENERAL INFORMATION

1.- DESCRIPTION MACHINE

DM-500 is a semi-automatic machine of medium dimensions, suitable for permanent
installation in factories.
The machine can be fitted with diamond abrasive blades with a maximum diameter of
500 mm, allowing cuts to be made on marble and granite slabs and brick products in
general, of size, shape and weight compatible with the structural characteristics of the
machine.

1) Water tank with pump
2) Motor for vertical carriage movement
3) Motor for horizontal carriage movement
4) Electrical panel
5) Lift able roller working table
6) Carriage travel rail
7) Mobile carriage
8) Blade protection hood
9) Control panel

11) Cutting blade

2.- IDENTIFICATION PLATE

The machine identification plate is located on the rear side of the machine base, at
side of electrical panel, and carries the following information. (fig. 2)

3.- SAFETY WARNINGS ON THE MACHINE
The safety warnings (fig.3) described in this manual are applied to the structure of the
machine in suitable places, and warn of the presence of risks and potential hazards. The
labels carrying the safety warnings must be kept clean and in perfect condition. They
must be immediately replaced if detached, damaged or illegible. Read the meanings of
safety warnings with attention and carefully memorize them, because operator safely
can depend on them.
1.- Compulsory to read this user's manual. Before operating the machine read
the instruction manual.
2.- Compulsory to wear safety footwear. Danger of injuries to feet during
workpiece onloading and offloading operations.
3.- It is obligatory to take security glover. Danger of injuries to hands during
work on loading and offloading operations of slabs.
4.- Danger of cuts to fingers.
5.- Compulsory to wear safety overalls. Wear suitable garments correctly
buttoned up. Take care with scarves, necklaces, bracelets, and ties. Long hair must
be tied back.
6.- Compulsory to wear protective ear muffs. While working the use of
authorized ear muffs to protect hearing is compulsory.
7.- Compulsory to wear protective glasses. Danger od ejection of materials
during cutting of work pieces.
8.- Danger of electric shock. Panel with live voltage. Before carrying out any
operation of inspections or maintenance always disconnect electrical power
supply.
9. Compulsory to wear breathing mask.
10.- Prohibited to remove protection devices fitted on machine. It is
absolutely prohibited to use the machine without protection devices or to work
with these dismantled or deactivated.
11.- Prohibited to carry out maintenance with machine operating. Before
carrying out any maintenance operations on the machine, stop it, disconnect
electrical power supply and carefully consult the User's Manual.
12.- General danger. Places with presence of residual risks.
