III.1.3.6
Pump-Down
In window Jc40 it is possible to enable the Pump-Down function which, when
required, closes the EEV thermostat valve before the compressors switch off,
extracting most of the refrigerant on compressor inlet.
With Pump-Down enabled, the compressor delays switching off until a low
pressure threshold is reached, or after a maximum time. In this latter case the
fault is recorded in the alarms log.
III.1.3.7
Turbocor compressor management
In versions with Turbocor compressor it is possible to modify the following
parameters acting in compressor control.
Percentage of minimum cooling request (in relation to the individual
1
compressor's power) to request switch-on of each compressor
Enables use of the Load Balance valve for low load regulation
2
Percentage of minimum cooling request (in relation to the individual
3
compressor's power) that causes the switch-off request for temperature
control of each compressor
Time remaining at minimum power after which the compressor requests
4
switching off
Maximum cooling request percentage (in relation to the power of the single
5
compressor) when another compressor is started up on the same circuit
On screen Jc42 it is possible to set a minimum operating and shut-down time of
the power factor correction capacitor.
III.1.4
Set-point Limits Menu
In the set-point Limits menu it is possible to define the extremes within which the
user is able to operate.

III.1.5
Menu Pumps
In the Condensation control menu it is possible to modify the parameters relating
to the management of the primary circuit pumps, of the disposal circuit in the
water-water units, of the recovery circuit for the EXP versions or versions with
RC100, of the desuperheater circuit for the versions with DS. Also, if there is a
VPF (Variable primary flow) accessory, it is possible to edit the specific
parameters relative to primary circuit pump and secondary circuit pump
management.
III.1.5.1
Primary pump
Primary pump type:
1
- ON/OFF: only the pump relay is activated
- INVERTER: activation of the pump relay and supply of the modulation
voltage
- INVERTER+VPF: activation of the pump relay and supply of modulation
voltage according to VPF logic (only for units with VPF)
Primary pump operation mode:
2
- ALWAYS ON: the pump remains on if the unit is on and there are no
blocking alarms
- on DEMAND: in case of prolonged inactivity of the compressors the pump
is temporarily switched off (see window JE4)
Enables the anti-block function that requires 30" of forced pump operation
3
in case of inactivity lasting 7 days.
Minimum delay between pump switching on and a compressor switching on
4
Minimum delay between pump start-up and switching from mode [F] to
5
mode [F+R] (EXP or HP+RC100 versions only)
Minimum time of forced pump operation after all compressor or the unit
6
have switched off.
Flow alarm bypass on pump start-up
1
Flow alarm bypass during pump operation
2
Interval between pump switch-on attempts in case of no flow
3
Accumulated work hours of a pump to request switch-over with a twin
1
pump. The switch-over only takes place with compressors off.
When switch-over is required, time between switching off the pump and
2
switching on the twin one. If a negative value is set, a simultaneous work
period is required.
Manual override command for pump change request
