Both the regulation and override set-point have an hysteresis for switching off the
fans and disabling the override.
Pressure set-point for supplying minimum voltage

regulation band width from minimum speed to maximum speed
2
Modulation shutdown cut-off

The settings in window Jf05 are used during desuperheater operation (only with
DS option):
Similar settings are available for evaporation control of the heating mode (only HP
and EXP versions).
There is also a third set-point of parameters in screen Jf06b that is used during
hot water production when the outdoor temperature is higher than the set
threshold.
PID regulation (any type)
With PID regulation the fans modulate to maintain the set-point, be it a pressure
value or pressure ratio.
Switching on is determined by the only step set in window Jf02-03.
Modulation however follows the set-point in screens Jf04-05. In case of PID in
pressure or mixed, the pressure ratio set-point is also entered, to be used only
after the start-up stage, which occurs in any case following the pressure value.
As for the previous algorithm, the parameters differ for the condensing and
evaporation control, plus there is a set of parameters for domestic hot water
production in high outdoor temperature conditions.

In the Jf05b mask for the condensation control and in the Jf07b mask for the
evaporation control it is possible to set pressure set-points different from the main
one and which are used in case of high and low outdoor air temperature. It is
necessary to set four outdoor air temperature points. The set-point used varies
according to the outside air temperature: between the first and the second point
1
the set-point is calculated by interpolating between the set-point defined for the
2
lowest and the main temperature, that is, the one defined in mask Jf04; between
3
the second and third points, the set-point used is the main one; between the third
and fourth point the set-point is calculated by interpolating between the main set-
point and the one defined for the highest temperature.
Finally, in screen Jf07c one may set the proportional, integral and derivative
1
settings that determine PID reactivity.

Polynomial regulation (only Turbocor)
The fans are modulated following four functions based on the moving average of
some physical values (pressure ratio, motor RPMs, power input, IGV valve
opening). The resulting value is the lowest between the LowPR function and the
highest of the remaining. For each function it is possible to scale the value
calculated by polynomial algorithms.

Scale of the function that is triggered in conditions of low pressure ratio
1
Scale of the function that is triggered in conditions of low IGV valve opening
2
Scale of the function that is triggered to optimise input
3
Scale of the function that is triggered in conditions of high pressure ratio
