12. Confirm Proper Operation
Turn the shower valve handle clockwise to the "open" position.
Run water through the showering components for several minutes to confirm proper operation.
Use the transfer valve to select the various spray options.
Check for leaks. Make any adjustments as needed.
Turn the shower valve handle fully clockwise to the maximum water temperature setting and let the
water run for several minutes.
IMPORTANT! The water temperature should never exceed 120°F (49°C).
Position a thermometer in the water stream. If the temperature of the water is above 120°F (49°C),
proceed to the "Optional Temperature Limiting Adjustment" section.
Turn the shower valve handle fully counterclockwise to turn off the water.

13. Clean-Up After Installation

CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not use abrasive cleansers. Abrasive cleansers may scratch
or dull the product surface.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not use metal scrapers, wire brushes, or any other metal
tools on the product surface.
Use warm water and liquid detergent to clean your product.
Remove stubborn stains, paint, or tar with turpentine or paint thinner.
Remove plaster by carefully scraping with a wooden edge.
Use a powder detergent on a damp cloth to provide a mild abrasive to any residual plaster.
