2. Remove Rear end trim finish panel. - By removing 2 bolts labeled as #1 in the picture below.
3. Remove the Rear Compartment Lid Latch Release Cable Handle Access Cover. - Depress the retainers and slide the rear
compartment lid latch access cover to the left to access the cable.
4. Disconnect the rear compartment lid latch release cable. - Disconnect the rear compartment lid inside handle cable from the
latch.
5. Remove the rear wheel opening molding on both sides. - Remove the rear wheel opening molding bolt located on the
bottom of the fascia. Labeled as # 1 in the picture below. Then starting from the top use a trim type release tool to release the 5
spring clips.
