OPERATING MODES
The following wire feeder operating modes can be
selected in the TIG power source menu:
Continuous, asynchronous and synchronous
4.1
Continuous mode
In this operating mode, the wire feeder delivers
wire continuously. The following parameters can
be configured:
Wire feeder start:
- AUTO: the wire feeder starts automatically as
soon as peak current begins to flow to the welding
workpiece.
- ext: the wire feeder starts when the Wire_inc
signal is activated in connector BA or from the
fieldbus by enabling the Wire_inc bit. The motor
always starts on peak current when peak current is
flowing through the welding workpiece
High speed:
Wire feed speed during welding:
[0.1m/min- 10m/min]
