In order to drive away the animals permanently and also to keep away,
the device should be in continuous use and a little patience be applied.
Our devices work with ultra-high threshold frequencies that avoid
habituation and are annoying to the animals but not necessarily painful.
Depending on the species, it can sometimes take up to 3 weeks for the
animals to leave their familiar environment and notice a change. Different
types of animals react differently, depending on age, race and size, but
most of them sooner or later feel disturbed in their habits and familiar
surroundings and will leave the area permanently.
Important: the placement of the equipment can be critical to its
effectiveness. Please align the devices with the "speaker" directly in a
line on the sitting and resting places of the animals. The frequencies are
sent funnel-shaped and the area to be protected should be within this
funnel. A misalignment can lead to blind spots in which the animals
spend more time to avoid the disturbing frequencies.
Operating mode
Minimal power consumption through new electronics. The device emits
high frequency sounds at intervals of 30 seconds. These sounds,
imperceptible to the human ear, keep the rodents away from the vehicle
and the spaces. The built-in chip LED generates a 3x LED flash every
minute. The device may protect against marten bites on cables, lines,
other rubber parts and damage to e.g. Roof insulation.
Assembly and operation
You have two options for operating the device, either connect this 1. to
your car battery or use it 2. Mobile in battery operation with 4x AA Mignon
batteries.
1. When operating in a vehicle, the unit is secured to the body with
tapping screws or cable ties in the engine compartment. The connection
cable to the car battery must be laid so that it does not come into contact
with moving or hot parts (eg fan, exhaust manifold). The device should be
placed in the engine compartment so that the sound can be distributed
evenly and is not damped by insulation mats.
