All about batteries/rechargeable batteries:

When the product is not used for an extended time, switch button to "OFF" position for longer battery life
time. We also recommend removing batteries to prevent possible leakage and damage to the unit.

If moisture gets into the battery compartment, dry with a cloth.

Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy and taken to special waste collection point.
Preparation
Insertion of batteries should be done by an adult as follows:
1. Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment.
2. Insert the 2 AG13 (LR44) batteries. Please check if the polarity is correct.
3. Screw the cover of the battery compartment back on again.
Please ensure that no water penetrates the electronics of the battery compartment, i.e. always make sure that the
battery compartment is securely and tightly closed before giving the product to your child to play with.
Function
Feed water
To feed water with the bottle, fill the bottle with clear tap water as follows.
Remove the cap (measuring cup) and unscrew the drinking tip. Fill the cap (measuring cup) with clear tap water
up to the mark "max". Carefully pour the water into the bottle and screw the cap with the tip onto the bottle
and tighten. Place the BABY born® doll in your arm and carefully insert the tip of the bottle as deep as possible
into the mouth. By gently pressing the side of the bottle for a few times, a small amount of water will be fed. As
soon as BABY born® had enough to drink, the water will run out of the mouth. In this case, please stop feeding
immediately. Now BABY born® can cry or go potty. Afterwards you can feed the doll again. With one bottle
filling BABY born® can be fed several times. Please empty the bottle when not in use and dry it well to avoid
contamination.
Attention! Never completely submerse or even submerge the complete bottle with the sound module.
Feed the porridge - BABY born® with feeding function
Before feeding the doll with porridge, it is essential to check whether this BABY born® may be fed. Please refer to
the instructions of your BABY born® doll.
(Attention, not for BABY born® Sister or BABY born® Brother)
To feed the bottle of porridge please follow the instructions below.
Remove the cap (measuring cup) and unscrew the spoon tip. Fill the cap (measuring cup) with clear tap water up
to the mark "12ml". Open 1 bag (not included) and mix the content with the water. Stir with the supplied spoon
until no more lumps are visible. The content of the cap (measuring cup) can be filled carefully into the bottle.
Now screw the spoon-tip tight on the bottle. Place the BABY born® doll in your arm and insert the spoon-tip
downwards into the mouth of BABY born®. By lightly pressing the sides of the bottle for a few times, a small
amount of porridge will be fed. If you feed the doll too much porridge, the mouth opening will get jammed and
the porridge runs out of the mouth. In this case please shake BABY born® lightly, so that the air bubble behind the
blockage dissolves and the porridge can run down again. Once BABY born® has eaten enough, the porridge will
run out of the mouth. In this case stop feeding immediately. Now BABY born® (not for Sister or Brother) can go to
the potty. After that you can feed the doll again. With one bottle filling, BABY born® with feeding function can be
fed a maximum of 2 times. Please empty the bottle after feeding, clean it and dry it well to avoid contamination.

Please make sure to clean BABY born® right after feeding. This is very easy with the already cleaned bottle. Please
