Operating mode

The device automatically changes from rest mode to alert mode, except
when installing batteries for the first time. In this case, the test button
must be pressed to switch the device on.

Basic operation

When the operator approaches an electric field between 10 kV – 66 kV
and exceeds a distance of approximately 1 metre for 10 kV and 3 metres
for 66 kV, the detector emits a sound to warn the operator that he is
inside dangerous area. The alarm will not stop until the operator moves
away from the voltage source.

If then there is an increase in the electrical field, it will return to alarm
mode.
The detector is always in alert mode,
and in alarm mode it can be silenced
by two slight consecutive taps on the
helmet and it will return to alert mode.
