Los bienes de naturaleza duradera producidos bajo las marcas de CAROBELS siguen
rigurosos controles de calidad. Sin embargo, en el caso excepcional de que su producto Scul-
pBy presente un defecto de fabricación o mano de obra, CAROBELS concede a este producto
una GARANTIA de 2 años a los consumidores finales o usuarios*, entrando en vigor a partir
de la fecha de venta.
Los derechos otorgados por esta garantía tienen validez junto con los derechos de reclama-

ción por vicios en las cosas contractuales y legales que corresponden al cliente frente al distri-
buidor al que haya comprado el aparato. La presente garantía no limita tales derechos.
CAROBELS se reserva el derecho de facturar al cliente los gastos originados por un uso injus-

tificado de nuestro servicio de asistencia técnica.
El periodo de validez de garantía, se rige bajo el R.D. 1/2007 de 16 de Noviembre. Quedan
excluidos de la garantía los componentes del producto sometidos a desgaste. La garantía no
cubre los siguientes supuestos:

1. Daños provocados por un uso indebido o negligente del aparato.
2. Daños provocados por haber sometido el aparato a un esfuerzo excesivo, por un trato inade-
cuado o por acciones externa.
3. Defectos ocasionados por no haber seguido las instrucciones de uso del aparato.
4. En caso de que personas ajenas a Carobels o su servicio técnico autorizado hayan realizado
reparaciones o hayan intentado reparar el aparato.
5. Daños que se puedan causar por el uso continuado del producto, como partes desconcha-
das, arañazos, abrasión o partes descoloridas.

Esta garantía cubre única y exclusivamente lo que en ella se especifica, cualquier otro daño o
motivo de cambio no será atendido.

A efectos de esta norma y sin perjuicio de lo dispuesto expresamente en sus libros tercero y
cuarto, son consumidores o usuarios las personas físicas que actúen con un propósito ajeno
a su actividad comercial, empresarial, oficio o profesión.
Para aquellos que no consideramos usuarios porque utilicen su herramienta SculpBy para
llevar a cabo su profesión el periodo de garantía será de seis meses.
Importante: cuando compres tu herramienta SculpBy, guarda siempre tu ticket de compra. Te
será solicitado para cualquier gestión que quieras realizar de tu producto, junto con la garantía.
Deberá devolver el secador SculpBy en su embalaje original.

Before attempting to use this SculpBy hairdryer for the safety of both yourself and others,
please read the safety precautions set out below carefully and follow them, without exception,
at all times when using your SculpBy hairdryer.
To reduce the risk of accidents, take the following cautions:
1. The SculpBy hairdryer is not intended for use by children under 8 years old, persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge un-
less they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in
a safe way and understands the hazards involved by a person responsible for their safety.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be undertaken by children unless supervised.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with this appliance.
2. Warning: keep away from water
1. Do not use the hairdryer while bathing.
2. NEVER use the device near a bath tub, shower, containers full of water, or any
other damp place.
3. Never use it with bare feet or when hands and feet are wet.
4. NEVER immerse it into water.
5. Do not reach for the appliance if it has fallen into water.
6. Do not place or store the appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a bath, basin or sink.
3. Warning: electricity
1. Always inspect your SculpBy hairdryer before use, and do not use it if it is damaged. If the
power cord or plug is damaged it must be replaced, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
2. Do not pull or strain the power cord and do not unplug by pulling on the cord, rather discon-
nect the SculpBy hairdryer by isolating the mains switch and then by removing the plug.

3. Do not use an extension power cord with this appliance.
4. Do not use at temperatures below 5°C and above 35°C.
5. This SculpBy hairdryer is designed for 220-240V, 50Hz, 1800-2100W. Do not
use with any other power supplies other than that specified on the rating plate.
6. Always check that the voltage of your electricity supply matches the voltage of
your SculpBy hairdryer.
7. Do not use this product with a voltage inverter or any device designed to convert the electrical
supply to 240V from a different source.
8. Be sure that the hairdryer is connected to an earth connection.
9. Do not operate the appliance where aerosol or spray products are being used, or where oxy-
gen is being administered.
10. Never drop or insert any object into any opening, it could lead to an electrical discharge.
11. Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
12. Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
13. Do not hang the SculpBy hairdryer by the power cord.
14. Always unplug the appliance after using it.
15. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attach-
ments not recommend by the manufacturer, it can be dangerous.
16. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying
the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
4. Warning: hot surfaces
1. Do not place hot parts of the appliance in sensitive areas to heat.
2. Never place the SculpBy hairdryer on any heat sensitive surface or cover it
whilst in or immediately after use and do not touch it.
3. Hold the SculpBy hairdryer by the handle; do not hold by the casing or con-
