5. Using your SculpBy hairdryer
1. After washing your hair, towel-dry it thoroughly.

2. Do not allow excess water from your hair or any other source to come into contact with the
SculpBy hairdryer.
3. For faster drying, use the SculpBy hairdryer without the styling nozzle.
4. Never cover the blower or intake opening.
5. Ensure that the air inlet filter is not and does not become blocked with fluff or hair.

6. When drying or styling, do not allow any of your hair to cover or come into contact with the
air inlet filter at the back of your dryer.
6. Cleaning your SculpBy hairdryer
1. To ensure that your SculpBy hairdryer operates at the optimum efficiency, always ensure
that the rear filter is kept clean by regularly cleaning it. Damage caused by failure to comply
with these cleaning instructions is not covered by the manufacturer's guarantee. (Instruc-

2. To do this first unplug the hairdryer from the mains power supply.
3. Never immerse the appliance in water.
4. Do not use a steam cleaner.

5. Wipe the outside of the SculpBy hairdryer with a damp cloth. Do not use sharp or abrasive
detergents or corrosive products.
6. Always use the SculpBy hairdryer with the genuine SculpBy filter.
7. Never operate the SculpBy hairdryer without a filter attached.
7. FAILURE TO OPERATE
1. In the unlikely event that your SculpBy product does not operate correctly, check that the
SculpBy product and mains power supply are switched on, and that power is available.
2. If in doubt or for further advice please visit the help section of ghdhair.com or contact an
approved SculpBy stockist or contact SculpBy customer services for further advice.
8. Recycling and disposal
Your SculpBy electrical product is classified as 'electrical or electronic equipment' and must not
be disposed of with other household or commercial waste at the end of its working life. When
you have no further use for your SculpBy product, please dispose of it according you your local
authority's recycling procedure. Your SculpBy electrical product should be disposed of in accor-
dance with the WEEE directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment 2002l96/EC) which
ensures that products are recycled using the best available methods and practices to minimise
any potential damage to the environment. For more information, contact your local authority or
the retailer from whom you purchased this product.

The durable goods produced under the brands "CAROBELS" follow rigorous quality con-
trols. However, in the rare event that your product SculpBy presents a manufacturing defect or
workmanship, CAROBELS Cosmetics gives this product a warranty of 2 years to final consu-
mers or users*, from the date of the sale.
The rights granted under this warranty are valid with rights to claim for defects in contractual
and legal things that are for the customer against the dealer where you purchased the applian-
ce. This warranty does not limit those rights.
CAROBELS reserves the right to charge the customer the costs incurred by an unjustified use
of our technical assistance.
The validity period of guarantee is governed by the RD 1/2007 of 16 November. Worn products
are excluded from the warranty. The warranty does not cover the following assumptions:
1. Damage caused by improper or negligent use of the appliance.
2. Damage caused by subjecting the device to excessive effort by improper treatment or ex-
ternal actions.
3. Defects caused by not to follow the instructions of use of the device.
4. If outsiders from Carobels or its Technical Service have been repair or have attempted to
repair the appliance.
5. Damage caused by the continued use of the product (chipped parts, scratches, abrasions
or discoloured parts).
Guarantee Conditions
This warranty covers exclusively what it is specified, any other damage or reason for changing
won't be attended.

For the purposes of this standard without prejudice of what is expressed in its third and fourth
books, consumers or users are natural persons acting for purposes outside his trade, business,
craft or profession.
For those who are not considered users because they use their SculpBy tool to perform their
profession, the warranty period is six months.
Important: When you buy your SculpBy tool, always keep your receipt. It will be asked together
with the warranty for any management you want to achieve to your product.
You must return the appliance in its original packaging.
