5. OPERATION

5.1 Turning the Recorder On/Off

To turn the recorder on, press and hold

5.2 Time/Standby/Sleep Mode

When the recorder is turned on, it will be in Time mode.
The current date and time will be displayed on the LCD screen.
Press MODE to place the recorder in Standby mode. The unit is now ready to make or review
recordings. The current folder and number of recordings will be displayed on the LCD screen.

5.3 Key Lock (Hold Switch)

The Hold switch locks (disables) your recorder's controls to prevent accidental key presses
when it is in your pocket or bag.
