4 ChargIng The helICOPTer
Attention: The battery and motor must cool down for 10 to 15 minutes before
charging and after every flight. Otherwise they can be damaged. The charging process
must be constantly monitored. Always ensure that the charging process takes place on
a fireproof surface in a fire-resistant environment.
1. Switch off the helicopter and the remote control.
2. Plug the USB charger into a USB hub or a USB port on a computer. (4A).
If the charger is ready for operation, the LED on the top illuminates red.
3. Now insert the plug of the charger on the bottom side of the model (4B).
The charging process begins automatically.
4. The Power LED on the charger goes out during the charging process and illuminates
red when the battery is full (4C). After charging, disconnect the battery from the
charger and pull the charger plug out of the USB interface.
The helicopter can fly for approx. 5-7 minutes after a charge time of approx.
50 minutes.
Warning notice: The LiPo battery does not normally heat up while charging. If it
should become warm or even hot and/or changes to the surface begin to appear,
immediately discontinue the charging process!

The thrust controller (the left controller on the remote control) must point down before
being switched on (5A). Then set the remote control's ON/OFF switch to "ON" (5B).
The power LED begins to blink. Now set the helicopter's ON/OFF switch to the "ON"
(5C). Place the helicopter on the ground so that the tail points toward you. Activate
the remote control by slowly moving the thrust controller to maximum and then back
to its starting position; the power LED will begin to blink quickly. This process lasts for
approx. 3 seconds. Now slowly pull the thrust control back to take off.

The correct trimming is a basic requirement for achieving fault-free flying from the
helicopter. Its adjustment is simple, but it requires some patience and a feel for it.
Please observe the following instructions precisely: Carefully move the thrust control
up and raise the helicopter approximately 0.5 to 1 metre in altitude.
6A If the helicopter quickly or slowly rotates clockwise by itself...
If the helicopter begins to automatically rotate clockwise quickly or slowly, continue
to tap the trim button 6A until the helicopter no longer rotates automatically.
6B If the helicopter quickly or slowly rotates anti-clockwise by itself...
If the helicopter begins to automatically rotate anticlockwise quickly or slowly, tap
the right upper trim button 6B until the helicopter no longer rotates automatically.
6C If the helicopter begins to tilt to the right automatically ...
If the helicopter tilts to the right automatically, press the trim button 6C until the
helicopter no longer banks automatically.
6D If the helicopter begins to tilt to the left automatically ...
If the helicopter tilts to the left automatically, press the trim button 6D until the
helicopter no longer banks automatically.

Note: Only minimal corrections of the controls are necessary for a smoothing flying
behaviour of the helicopter!
7A Take off or increase altitude by
carefully moving the control for thrust
forward.
7C Fly forward by moving the controller
for forward/backward flight and right/left
rotation carefully forward.
7E Turn the helicopter around anti-
clockwise by moving the controller for
forward/backward flight and right/left
rotation to the left.
7G In order to curve left, carefully move
the thrust and banking controller to the
left.
7I In order to fly faster, briefly press the
turbo button (2H) in the centre of the
remote control one time. The green LED
above the turbo button illuminates if
turbo mode is active.
7B Land or decrease altitude by moving
the control for thrust backward. Only
minimal corrections to the controller are
necessary to ensure smoothing flying of
the helicopter!
7D Fly backward by moving the controller
for forward/backward flight and right/left
rotation carefully backward.
7F Turn the helicopter around clockwise
by moving the controller for forward/
backward flight and right/left rotation to
the right.
7H In order to bank to the right, move
the control for thrust and banking to the
right.
7J The red lateral LED on the model's
fuselage can be swithed on and off with
two oblong buttons on the right (2C) .
