Fitting tools required :
-C-ZAM and C-ZAM V2 Rope ring : 5 mm BTR key, can be installed with a screw gun.
-C-ZAM L and C-ZAM L+ : TORX M4 key, can be installed with a screw gun.
Fixing
The C-ZAM rings are designed to be fitted onto lifelines, with diameters of 10 mm, 12 mm and 12,7
mm.

Recommendations
-Do not fit rings onto small-diameter cables.
-Do not fit rings where they will undergo direct shocks (base jumps).
-Fit extra rings onto the routes to enable users to get to easy access points in case of an emergency,
such as lightning or a fire. For example, allow back tracking on some courses.
-Use and store C-ZAMs between -20°C and +40°C.
-C-ZAM rings are fitted with powerful magnets. Do not store them close to sensitive equipment
(computers, phones, watches, etc.).
-At the start of zip-lines, do not fit the pulley ahead of or on the C-ZAM ring so as to avoid damaging it.
-Provide operators with a ring to enable them to trick the system so as to evacuate users.
-Have several spare rings immediately available to operators to free the lines in case of accidental
damage to a C-ZAM ring. The C-ZAM rings are designed to be sturdy and long-lasting but the lack of a
ring will hamper progress on a route. It is therefore better to be safe than sorry.
-To check effective operation and installation of the rings (ergonomic position and orientation for the
user), test by hooking a CLiC-iT onto each ring before using them on the course.
