Important note:
In the case of any problems with the fit, you as a technician can modify the DorsoFX back brace at any
time. The pelvic and thoracic buckles as well as
the back plate are made of thermoplastically deformable polypropylene and can therefore be reworked
using a hot air gun. This step can also be performed directly in the hospital.

7. Finally, adjust the closures. To do this, open the crocodile clip at the end of
each strap and shorten the strap using conventional scissors so that the strap
is aligned to the crocodile clip approx. 2 cm before the end (Fig. 7).
Tip: We recommend the patient wears a long, tight-fitting brace shirt or T-shirt
underneath the orthopedic aid. Ensure that no creases form underneath
the corset since this may cause pressure sores.
To do this, remove the covers attached by Velcro strips to enable smooth rewor-
king using a hot air gun (Fig. 8).
Immediately after the material has cooled down, the covers can be put back to
their original positions and reattached.
