Troubleshooting

Symptom
Pump will not start.
Noisy pump.
Low or no inlet pressure.
Pump does not stop.

Possible Cause(s)
Pump selector button in OFF position.
Failure in the electric power supply.
Pump is stuck.
Very low flow rate, does not activate
the Flow Sensor, requires a minimum
of 1.5 lpm.
Solid particles in the Flow Sensor.
Air in the system.
Water supply is closed.
Impurities in the pump.
Air in the system.
Pump selector is in the ON position.
Flow Sensor is dirty.
Corrective Action
Move selector button to AUTO or
ON position.
Check that there is 127V
power supply.
Slowly remove the purge plug with
a screwdriver.
Place the pump selector button in the
ON position.
Remove Flow Sensor and clean it.
Open the water valves for a few
minutes, while the pump is running.
Open water supply.
Disassemble and clean the pump.
Open the water valves for a few
minutes, while the pump is running.
Place the pump selector button in the
AUTO position.
Remove the Flow Sensor and clean it.
