contains important instructions that should be
followed during installation, operation, and
maintenance of the product.
This is the safety alert symbol. When you
see this symbol on your pump or in this manual,
look for one of the following signal words and

Carefully read and follow all the safety
instructions in this manual and on the pump.
Keep safety labels in good condition. Replace
missing or damaged safety labels.
Risk of electric shock� Can shock,
burn or kill.
• Do not allow the motor to get wet!
• Use this pump only in a 127 volt circuit.
The pump is equipped with an approved
3-conductor cord and a 3-prong, grounding-
type plug. To reduce the risk of electric shock,
connect it to a properly grounded, grounding-
type receptacle.
• If circuit has a 2-prong receptacle, replace it
with a properly grounded 3-prong receptacle
installed in accordance with the National
Electrical Code and any other applicable local
codes and ordinances.
• Any extension cord used must be outdoor
grade, gauge 16 AWG or heavier, and not
more than 25' long.

Risk of fire or explosion� May
cause severe injuries, material damage or death
if used to pump flammable liquids or if used
in explosive atmospheres� Pump only water
with this pump. The pump has been designed
to pump water at temperatures between
35.6°-140° F (2°-60° C) only.
Risk of burns� NEVER run the
pump dry. Running the pump without water may
cause overheating, damage to the seal, and may
cause burns to the individual handling it.
NOTICE This equipment has been designed
to pump clean water without suspended solid
particles or abrasive materials.
NOTICE To ensure the best possible performance
and continuous, satisfactory operation, read
these instructions before installing the pump.
If you require service, this manual may be a
valuable guide and must be stored near the
installed pump for immediate reference.
Description
The pump has been designed to increase the
pressure in open water systems, including
clean fluids, without any solid particles or
fibers, such as rainwater, drinking water, etc. It
provides additional pressure for water supply
outlets such as showers, faucets, etc. and may
be used manually or automatically. At the
minimum input pressure of 1.5 m, it requires
a header during the operation in order to
prevent cavitation noise and possible damage to
the pump.
