5 HARDWARE INSTALLATION
5.1.4.4 Position the frame as desired and mark the 4 mounting hole positions on the
floor tile.
5.1.4.5 Drill 5/8 in. holes through the Floor tile to allow for ½ in. all-thread
pass through.
5.1.4.6 Using a Plumb Bob or level mark the anchor positions in the
building structure.
5.1.4.7 Drill a hole appropriate for the concrete anchor to be used. Consult the
manufacturer's documentation for product specific information.
5.1.4.8 Install the concrete anchors.
5.1.4.9 Position the frame over the holes in the raised access floor tile accounting for
edging or grommet devices as discussed previously.
5.1.4.10 Install the threaded rod trough the frame mounting holes, and if required the
seismic mounting kit (optional) and into the concrete anchors.
5.1.4.11 Secure and tighten all hardware to the manufacturers
recommended values.
5.1.5 For installations on concrete slab:
5.1.5.1 Position the frame as desired and mark the 4 mounting hole positions on
the floor.
5.1.5.2 Drill a hole appropriate for the concrete anchor to be used. Consult the
manufacturer's documentation for product specific information.
5.1.5.3 Install the concrete anchors.
5.1.5.4 Position the frame above the anchors and install mounting hardware.
5.1.5.5 Secure and tighten all hardware to the manufacturers recommended values.
