6.2.3 Using the cable grommet sizing tool, determine the appropriate quantity of rubber rings
to remove from each cylinder. To ensure a snug fit around each cable only remove as
much material as necessary.
6.2.4 With the Clamp assembly mounted to the Mesh panel, determine the cable grommet
mounting location (approximately 1inch behind the shrink tube breakout) and mark
the cable(s).
6.2.5 Remove the clamp assembly from the Mesh, place all cables in the target grommet,
center the grommet in the grommet clamp and secure the grommet clamp with the wing
nut and bolt.
6.2.6 Insert the loaded Clamp assembly to the desired Mesh mounting location. The assembly
is secure when the release pin engages the receiving hole.
NOTE: For best results position the cut in the cable grommet against the metal wall of the
grommet clamp. This will minimize over-compression or deformation of the grommet.
