SETTING DATE/TIME
IT IS NECESSARY TO SET THE DATE AND TIME FOR THE
UNIT EVERY TIME BATTERIES ARE INITIALLY INSTALLED OR
REPLACED.
Date and time will default to factory settings, 12:00 a.m. /
1(M)-1(D), if you do not choose to set the correct data.
The date/time feature is on the bottom left of the display
screen. This unit stores the date and time, allowing for
a date/time stamp on all readings in the memory recall
function.
1. When the batteries are installed, the time/date will
automatically show on the lower left of the display
as 12:00/1(M) -1(D). After set-up time and date will
continue to alternate even when the monitor is off and
not in use.
2. When the unit is off, press and hold the START and
MEM button at the same time. The month will begin
to flash, Fig. 1.
3. Press the MEM button to advance the month until
the desired number appears. To scroll through the
numbers quicker, hold down the MEM button as the
numbers advance.
4. Press the START button to confirm the month entry.
5. Next, the date will blink. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set
the date, then hours, then minutes, Fig 2. This unit
does not track the year.
6. After setting the minutes, the unit will automatically
exit out of the date/time setting mode and is ready to
take a measurement.
