ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Tools required for assembly: Included wrench, 9/16" and 5/8" wrenches
(2 of each), torque wrench.
Assemble Cargo Basket
1. Place each half of cargo basket on a flat surface with the cargo mesh
floor facing down as shown. Line up the locator tubes and connect the
two halves to each. FIG 1.
2. Using four, 3/8 hex bolts and lock nuts, attach the chrome support
tubes to the outer surface of the mounting tabs on the cargo carrier.
Leave bolts loose at this step.
3. Turn cargo tray over so that the mesh floor is facing upward as shown
in FIG 2.
4. Install four, 3/8 hex bolts and lock nuts through holes in angle brackets.
5. Tighten all 3/8-16 GR5 bolts to 31 ft–lb.
6. Attach reflectors by inserting bottom tabs of reflector in hole then
push top tabs in until reflector snaps into place.
Attach Center Section To Cargo Basket
1. Place center section assembly onto the cargo basket, lining up the
four holes in center section with the holes in the four mounting tabs on
the cargo basket. FIG 3.
2. Install four, 7/16 hex bolts and lock nuts as shown.
3. Tighten all 7/16-14 GR5 bolts to 55 ft–lb.
