6. Hygiene preparation

6.1 Intervals

The tube system should be cleaned once a day and replaced once a year. The
internal double tube must be replaced at least every 6 months – or sooner if dirty (see
"9.2 Replace the double tube" on page 18) . The housing should be wiped clean at
regular intervals.

6.2 Clean and Disinfect

Cleaning the housing
1. Detach all tubes from the VENTI-O
2. Detach the VENTI-O
3. Wipe the housing and the connectors with a soft damp cloth. The valve must be
completely dry before operation.
Clean the tube system
The tube system WM 23737 may be cleaned in warm water with a temperature of
up to 70°C. Do not allow any water to enter the double tube. Proceed as follows:

1. Detach the tube system from the device and from

tube. Seal the opening with the sealing plug
supplied.
